Atiku’s appeal: Opposition parties ‘leak’ names of panel members

Opposition political parties under the aegis of the Coalition of United Political Parties on Tuesday released a list of five Justices of the Court of Appeal who it said had been approved to hear the petition of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party , Alhaji Atiku Abubakar , against the results of the February 23 presidential election. It claimed the list was approved by the President of the Court of Appeal , Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa , “ with the endorsement of the Buhari APC . ” The coalition ’s national spokesman , Imo Ugochinyere , disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists in Abuja. Ugochinyere listed members of the panel to include Bulkachuwa (presiding judge ) , Justice Abdu Aboki, Justice Peter Ige , Justice J . S . Ikyegh , and Justice S . C . Oseji . Nigerian movie producer Paul Emema is dead

According to reports, he died on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, after a brief illness. The news of his death was made known by his bosom friend, Francis Onwochei, on March 14 who said; “I heard about the death on Wednesday. I received a call from his long-time business development officer, I called our mutual friend and we both visited his house last night at Ago Palace Way Okota.” Emema is best known for producing the NTA series Behind the Clouds and Supple Blues. Comedian Ali Baba reacts to Lagos building collapse

Veteran Nigerian comedian, Ali Baba has taken to social media to address the tragic Lagos building collapse and how the society has contributed to the ills that affect people everyday. Earlier on, Legit.ng reported the news of how a three-storey building reportedly collapsed in Lagos state on Wednesday, March 13, trapping several pupils, some of whom have been confirmed dead. Following numerous blames being thrown at the government, comedian Ali Baba has taken to his Instagram page to speak on the issue. He wrote: "Someone sent me a message asking why I have not said anything about this Lagos Island building collapse, since yesterday... I ignored it. My condolences to all the families who lost loved ones and properties. God will console you. But just to avoid being considered insensitive, let me say this, we are our own problems.
